HP Envy X360 Review

If you remember, HP’s recently reviewed laptop was the Specter x360 (2019) model. Another alternative to this model, which is among the notebook computers of particular interest with its foldable design, is the Envy x360, which we will take a closer look at today.

The Envy x360 , which makes a strong impression with its light structure and thin lines , is a laptop weighing only 1.3 kilograms. Thus, the device that you can carry with you practically looks very good in design. The Envy x360, which is a foldable model in terms of structure, can be used in different ways. You can either use it completely in tablet form or convert it into tent and stand form.

The laptop, which can be preferred with its dark ash color and silver color, has an aluminum body. Using a 13.3 inch touch panel display, the Envy x360 provides a wide view with its 3-sided thin screen frames. However, it should be noted that the area under the screen is a little too wide.

Envy x360, which has a keyboard that is comfortable to use, has a backlight. However, you cannot determine a level; you can only set it as open and closed.

The laptop, which includes 2 USB 3.1 ports among its peripheral connections, also has a USB-C port, headphone jack and SD card slot. Wireless connections include support for 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. Again about the sound of Bang & Olufsen and in cooperation with HP, so he was able to provide high quality audio performance.

HP preferred AMD’s Ryzen platform for this model of the Envy x360. If you wish, users can also find the model of this device with an Intel processor. With the Ryzen 7 2700U processor at our disposal , the Envy x360 can benefit from this processor operating at 2.20 Ghz base frequency up to 3.8 GHz.

It is possible to say that the Envy x360 has an advantage over many of its counterparts with its RAM space. Because the 8 GB capacity RAMs in the device are listed as DDR4. Let’s also say that they are preferred with a frequency of 2400 MHz.

HP, which uses NVMe SSD as its storage unit, offers a very standard space such as 256 GB. When we look at the graphics processor of the laptop, we see that the integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 10 is positioned.

The battery life of the HP Envy x360 is also suitable for practical use and mobile use. The laptop, which can display up to 11 hours of battery performance , offers about 7.5 hours on mobile for those who like to watch videos. Let’s also say that it charges quickly when it runs out. With the laptop turned off, you can reach 50 percent coverage in about 45 minutes.

Summing up

The Envy x360, a model that looks very good in general, is a model prepared for those who are looking for more mobile use. We believe that the Envy x360, which makes a strong impression with its thin and light structure, foldable design and touch screen, will be appreciated by those looking for a high-end mobile laptop. Of course, there are many competitors in this field.
